During my trip to Ontario, I was struck by how many beautiful waterfalls I came across in my adventures. One of my favorites was Crystal Falls in Algoma Country. This waterfall near Sault Ste Marie, Ontario was relaxing and beautiful. Had I had mosquito repellent on, I could have stayed for hours watching it. But I didn’t, I recorded a bit of it so I could enjoy it after I left. It is about a 90 foot fall, and is one of the largest vertical drops along Lake Superior. If you take the time to go see this waterfall, allot some time to explore the great trails in Kinsmen Park.
Just north of Sault Ste Marie in Algoma Country on the Trans-Canada Highway.
When heading north on Highway 17 (The Trans-Canada Highway) out of Sault Ste Marie take a right (east) on Fifth Line Rd. and follow it to the entrance to Kinsmen Park. Follow the Kinsmen Park road to a parking lot – Crystal Falls is to the north.
